Mo Industripark is one of the largest and most resource-rich industrial parks in the country. It hosts major smelting operations by international companies such as Elkem, Celsa, and Ferroglobe, fostering growth in services, machining, and ICT. Thomas A. Bentzen, CEO of Locat3d, describes the industrial park as an ideal setting for the company’s continued development.

“This is an exceptional environment for growth. We have access to advice and insights from highly competent platform users, many of whom are just steps away from our office. We’ve already had productive discussions with several of them,” says Bentzen.

Mo Industripark, which celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2021, has evolved from its origins in the iron and steel industry. The park offers significant growth potential and is currently working on the construction of a deep-water quay.

The facilities for additive manufacturing are continuously improving, highlighted by the recent installation of the country’s largest 3D printer at Industrial AM, produced by WAAM3D.

In addition, there are a number of companies within the workshop industry that supply highly certified services offshore and to Swedish industry.
