Pro Tromsø focuses on promoting sustainable investments, innovation, and advancements in green industry and technology. During their visit, Locat3d had the opportunity to connect with numerous startups, investors, and leading experts who share similar goals.
“It was an incredibly educational experience. We encountered a wealth of knowledge and skilled individuals with whom we could share insights,” said Thomas A. Bentzen, CEO of Locat3d.
With the participation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Norinnova, the event was an excellent platform for establishing innovative cross-border connections. Oulu, a university city with over 9,000 students, contributed a dynamic energy to the visit.
“The university here not only prioritizes education but also places a strong emphasis on innovation. Meeting with students and faculty from the information technology department was particularly engaging,” noted Bentzen.
Bentzen highlighted the importance of these in-person interactions for steering their innovation efforts in the right direction. He praised Pro Tromsø for organizing the visit and creating such valuable opportunities.
“Most of our daily work happens on digital platforms like Teams, but at this stage, face-to-face meetings, exchanging ideas, and exploring different solutions are incredibly stimulating. We’ve made connections in the Nordic tech community that would have been impossible to achieve through a virtual conference,” Bentzen concluded.
