This marks the third cohort of the program, known for its high entry standards. Norinnova is backed by influential organizations such as Equinor, the University Hospital of North Norway, and SpareBank 1. Scaleup IX also featured contributions from Snö Ventures, Sarsia Seed, and Innovation Norway.
“It’s the region’s premier program for startups in the growth phase,” said Clara Malm Nikolaisen from SpareBank 1 Nord-Norge, whose extensive knowledge comes from deep insight into Northern Norway’s innovation landscape through the bank’s regional presence.
