Recently launched, BAN Arctic is the result of a pilot project conducted in collaboration with the Arctic Accelerator and funded by Innovation Norway and The Social Uplift. The network’s mission is to foster an environment for angel investments in Northern Norway.
BAN Arctic provides its members with access to a pipeline of investment opportunities and networking events with startups and the broader innovation community. Acting solely as a liaison, the organization is non-profit and does not engage in direct investments or provide recommendations.
“We have had an intense and demanding program over four weeks, but it has been impressively educational and inspiring,” said Thomas Bentzen, CEO of Locat3d. “The experienced investors were not only interested but also offered valuable advice. This insight will be pivotal as we move forward with our process.”
When do you plan to implement this knowledge?
“Our aim is to have a fully developed concept ready for angel investors within a year, potentially by mid-fall next year.”
Are you confident in your progress?
“Absolutely. We’re pleased with our momentum, though the pace is demanding. Thankfully, we have strong professional support from the Arctic Accelerator and an exceptionally skilled team.”
