Final Day of the Arctic Accelerator Program
“Intense days,” said Thomas Bentzen, CEO of Locat3d, with a broad smile. He barely had time for an interview, as he was set to head to Oslo and other destinations in just a few hours.
How would you describe the last six months?
“It’s been challenging, rewarding, and fun! The support from Arctic Accelerator has been exceptional. I must also give credit to Kupa and their team. We had no idea, six months ago, that such expertise was only 700 km north of our office in Mo i Rana.”
What has been the most significant aspect for you?
“The high standards and rigorous demands! They really set a benchmark to strive for.”
The Arctic Accelerator program is designed to fast-track promising early-stage startups, helping them refine their business concepts and become investment-ready. A critical element of the program involves mentorship, which provides intensive business development support. Launched in 2016 by Kupa, an innovation company, the program is supported by Sparebank 1 Nord-Norge, Innovation Norway, and Siva.
Participation in the program comes with strict requirements. Companies must be less than five years old and have a business address in the region. Additionally, their business ideas must be scalable, technology-based, and contribute positively to sustainable development.
